Join us at Wabun Park in Minneapolis (Shelter G, separate from but near Minnehaha Falls) for an outdoor worship service on Sunday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a picnic about 12:30 p.m. Bring a side dish and the kids! GATHER will provide the main dish of pulled pork bbq sandwiches and hotdogs for the kids (or anyone who loves hotdogs). Lemonade and water will also be provided. 

We’ll meet at Wabun rain or shine, unless there’s severe weather in the forecast, then we’ll worship and enjoy pulled pork and fellowship at Mount Olive St. Paul. We’ll post here and email the mailing list if that is the case.

There is free parking at Wabun. Shelter G is located a little ways from the main parking lot, playground, wading pool, and frisbee golf field. See below for additional parking information.

Parking Information

There’s lots of free parking at Wabun. Shelter “G” is a short distance away from the main, upper lot and playground, slightly downhill. The easiest way to get there is to NOT take the road leading to the main lot and instead follow 46th Ave S. down and around to a lower lot that is very close to Shelter G. You can also easily walk from the main lot, so either way, you’ll be fine.
